Kasuari’s Pinots one from the mentioned Peters Vineyard and one a Sonoma Coast cuvee (from a single clone 115) are deep and complex Pinot Noirs that have wonderful layers of silky fruit and distinct site (terroir) characteristics. Both wines were polished, well made and a total joy to drink, showing all the great qualities of the grape and the region(s) where they are grown."

Kasuari Winery is proud to release two outstanding Pinot Noir's this year. Our first 2008 Pinot Noir is the Peters vintage. For five generations of the Peters family have made our home, grown the grapes and now are making the wine that embody the richness of the soil and the people of Sonoma County. Our second Pinot Noir release is out Clone 115 vintage. Our Clone 115 was grown and cared for in the heart of Sonoma County and offers the elegance and balance of ripe cherry fruit, bakers spice and a lingering finish.

Kasuari Winery is proud to release our 2006 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
2006 offered a long and even growing season and yielded deep wines with soft,
mouth-filling tannins. A bold mix of classic Cabernet flavors unfold in the
glass with lavish plum, blackberry and cassis fruit accompanied coffee,
chocolate and toffee typical of hillside fruit. New French Oak barrels
from the Nevers and Troncais used during aging add spice and sage aromas.

Vibrant, fruity and dry now, with savory black currant, red currant , plum
and cherry flavors, this Cab also has a spicy, minty quality tha makes it
come alive on the palate. It's young and tannic, and will benefit from up to
eight years in the cellar. -- S.H."
Kasuari 2007 Peters Vineyard Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast); $49. Right now
this Pinot is a bit heavy and full-bodied, almost like a Rhone-style wine
with its thick mouthfeel and cherry, anise and chocolate flavors. It could
easily age, throwing some sediment and becoming softer and more delicate.

must celebrate and party with out fear! The Release Party in the Vineyard will be

Noir, 2005 Parady Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2006 Rose Knoll Zinfandel. Wear

Kasuari Winery is proud to release both our 2006 Pinot and our 2006 Rose wines. Our 2006 Pinot Noir delivers all of the characteristics of our high scoring 2005 Pinot Noir - gobs of Blackcherry jam, strawberry notes, and violets. New Oak from the Allier forest in France contributes to the dried rose petals found in great Pinot Noir. Our 2006 Rose is a deft balance of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Pretty strawberry, peach and pear flow to a flinty and earthy delight. Native yeast fermented and aged in a neutral barrel.
You may also purchase the future 2005 Parady Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and 2006 Rose Knoll Zinfandel directly from us.

We are proud to announce the release of our 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.
Our 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon is a complex mix of ripe plum, blackberry, and cassis fruit accompanied by enticing Jamaican all-spice and sage. It's a rich and smooth wine, yet intense enough to age gracefully for years.
Our 2002 Syrah is an intense yet supple wine with aromas of black cherry, plum and chocolate, and a touch of earthiness all supported into a long finish by smooth velvety tannins and smoky French oak.
