2009 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast
Our 2009 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is grown and cared for in the heart of Sonoma County. For five generations the Peters family have made our home, grown the grapes and now are making the wine that embody the richness of the soil and the people of Sonoma County. The Sonoma Coast in particular is known as one of the best Pinot Noir growing regions in the world, and this limited production wine shows why.
The vineyard soil consists of Gold-ridge loam in the Sonoma Coast adds rich fruit, spice with a jammy richness via the loamy-clay enriched soils.
Kasuari’s 2009 Pinot Noir delivers all of the characteristics
Pinot Noir fanatics crave – gobs of Blackcherry jam,
strawberry notes, and violets. New Oak from the Allier forest
in France contributes to the dried rose petals found in great
Pinot Noir.
